Sharon has been involved in amateur theatre, both on and off the Island, for over 30 years. A passionate advocate for local drama, she has appeared in numerous productions with Service Players, Parker & Snell Productions and Hog The Limelight. She has also been involved in shows with both the Manx Operatic Society and Douglas Choral Union.

More recently, she has written and directed a multi-award winning One Act play ‘The Perfect Gentleman’, receiving plaudits at festivals in the Isle of Man and in the North of England.

In 2018, Sharon took over as Chair of the Manx Amateur Drama Federation (MADF), tasked with promoting amateur drama performances and providing a focal point for inspiring acting talent. Her main objectives for her period as Chair are to stimulate greater cooperation between societies and across the Arts, as well as ensuring drama is accessible to all.

During working days Sharon is a Senior Project Manager for Equiom Group and is responsible for delivering projects and programmes across the globe. As a result, she has great experience in managing budgets and people.

Sharon looks forward to using her talents to assist the Council in ensuring the Arts on the Island continues to flourish.
