Alison Michie

Now living in the Isle of Man, after studying Art and Education, Alison travelled to work in a few countries.

Originally graduating with a BA(Hons) in Design and Silversmithing her work evolved into multi-media and surface design, and now she is fortunate enough to create art in Isle of Man and Malta.

After carrying around sketch pads and books which were too heavy for her rucksack, Alison settled to walking the beaches of the Isle of Man with her dog.

The coast and sea in the Isle of Man inspired coastal themed artwork, while also creating illustrations from the coffee shop scenes in Malta.

During lockdown Alison had the opportunity to publish three books funded by the IOM Arts Council.

Just a little footnote, that Alison now has a collection of sketch pads and books in both countries so her rucksack is much lighter!
