The Youth Arts Centre Invites You to Get Spooky in “The Crypt” this October
Opening for one night only, the Youth Arts Centre invites people of all ages to “The Crypt” on Saturday 23rd October, 5pm – 10.30pm.
The community arts building will open its unearthly doors for one evening only this Halloween.
Come and join us for some Villain/Monster canvas painting, with Art Tank, spooky storytelling, live gigs from the sinister sounds of SoundCheck Isle of Man with headline act and Battle of the Band winners, Sunset Jet.
Art Tank Facilitator, Anna Clucas said: “I am really looking forward to this first Halloween collaborative event between Art Tank and SoundCheck. It is the start of what is to come connecting the arts across the venue, as well as showing off we can achieve together at the Youth Arts Centre.”
Villain/Monster Canvas painting £10 per person, including live gig tickets. 5pm - 7 pm in Art Tank.
In the theatre, SoundCheck live gigs 7pm - 10.30, £3 per ticket.
Suitable for all ages however children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Strictly no alcohol

Formerly the Douglas School of Art, the Youth Art Centre is a performing and visual art venue for young people.
Art Tank, Youth Arts Centre
The Art Tank is an art space for young people run and instructed by professional artist Anna Clucas. The after school art club involves collaborative projects and design working alongside music, drama and dance at the Youth Arts Centre, Kensington Road, Douglas.
SoundCheck Isle of Man
SoundCheck Isle of Man is a music project that promotes young musicians island wide, producing regular Live Events and Studio Recordings at the Youth Arts Centre, Kensington Road.
